Veterans, THANK YOU!
President Woodrow Wilson first proclaimed an Armistice Day to be observed in the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, in 1919 on the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I.
Later to be change to Veterans Day, by Congress, on November 8th 1954.
